On the occasion of Professor Alam’s stay at YITP as a visiting professor, we would like to organize an international workshop on physics of granular flows. This meeting consists of two parts: The focus meeting (June 25-June 27) include many speakers from all over the world to know the current status of the research on physics of granular flows. In the remaining days of the workshop, we will have intensive discussion among some core participants to promote the collaboration on physics of granular flows.
