Theory of scaling laws near the jamming transition point
概要
 
Recently, the scaling law for the shear stress and
the shear rate near the jamming transition point
have been proposed. These scaling laws
are analogous to those in conventional critical phenomena.
In this presentation, based on a phenomenology, we
determine explicitly the critical exponents for the scaling laws,
which are independent of the dimension of the system, but
depend on the particle interaction. The validity of the theory
has been verified by the molecular dynamics simulation.
