Generalized probabilistic theories (GPT) give us a framework to describe the operational features of classical and quantum physics, in particular, their state spaces and measurement processes. Within this approach we define the morphophoric measurements with the property that the measurement map transforming states into distributions of the measurement results is a similarity. In quantum case, SIC-POVMs or, more generally, 2-design POVMs belong to this class. We give some examples of morphophoric measurements for other GPTs and try to answer the question to what extent the theory of these measurements retains the chief features of the QBism approach to the basics of quantum mechanics.
