Incompatibility of instruments in operational probabilistic theories

We introduce the notion of incompatible instruments in operational probabilistic theories. It is shown that the lack of incompatibility is equivalent to the possibility of extracting any information without disturbance. Moreover, we show that every theory entails incompatible instruments, with the only exception of theories with all systems classical.
