Title: Mass segregation and TDEs in eccentric nuclear disks Abstract: The Andromeda galaxy contains a parsec scale eccentric disk. Secular torques can efficiently push stars in such disks to nearly radial orbits, where they can be tidally disrupted. In fact, a significant fraction of observed TDEs may come from these eccentric nuclear disks (ENDs). Previous work on these structures has considered disks with a single stellar population. I will discuss the dynamics of two-component ENDs. In particular, I will discuss how heavier stars in these disks mass segregate, and how this would increase their TDE rates.
