Title: High-resolution numerical studies for tidal detonation of a white dwarf Abstract: Theoretical considerations predict white dwarfs will experience thermonuclear explosions in the processes of tidal diruption events, so called ``tidal detonation''. Previous studies performed three-dimensional simulations to follow tidal detonation. However, their spatial resolutions are not high enough to investigate the start of tidal detonation. Tanikawa (2018, ApJ, 858, 26) have followed the start of tidal detonation accurately by one-dimensinal simulations with extremely-high spatial resolutions. In this talk, we will show results of a two-dimensional simulation for tidal detonation, and discuss the propatation and nucleosynthesis of the tidal detonation.
