Population analysis of TDEs from ZTF

Abstract:
The origin of optical emission from TDEs is unknown. 
One way improve our understanding is via population analysis, 
but previous samples have often not been large enough to enable 
statistically meaningful studies. I will present results from 
a homogenous analysis of a population of TDEs selected from 
Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) data. After adding events from the literature, 
our sample contains 38 TDEs with well-measured light curve properties 
(eg, peak luminosity, temperature, and their evolution). 
I will present correlations between these light curve properties, 
as well as correlations with TDE spectroscopic class and host galaxy properties.
