表記研究会を下記の日程と内容で開催致します：
日程：平成１３年７月１６日（月）− ７月１９日（木）
場所：京都大学基礎物理学研究所
この研究会は、「場の理論」と「弦理論」及びその周辺の幅広いトピックを採り
上げて研究報告と討論を行い、研究の進展と研究者の交流を促す事を目的として
います。
場の量子論は、２０世紀物理学の根幹の一つとして大きく発展してきましたが、
２１世紀の始まりにあたり、今回はその現状と課題について総括的な議論を行い、
今後の方向性を検討する事に重点をおいた研究会にしたいと考えています。特に
弦理論は、最近の非摂動的解析の大きな進展により新たな相に入ったと考えられ、
今後、弦理論及びその境界領域の展開や、新しいアイディアの追求という形で、
従来からの場の理論的手法が、ますます重要になると思われます。
この研究会では最近のホットトピックに関するいくつかのレビューを含む講演と
一般講演とを組み合わせた形を取り、関連する分野で現在活躍中の方のみならず、
これから研究を始めようとする方に対しても有益となるよう企画する予定です。
このような観点から、研究会の参加者と「場の理論」及び「弦理論」についての
研究発表を募集します。ふるって御応募下さい。
具体的なテーマとしては、次の様なものを考えています：
１. ゲージ理論における新展開：
非可換時空上のゲージ理論、格子カイラルゲージ理論、
超対称ゲージ理論の双対性、等
２. 超弦理論、超重力理論における新展開：
弦の場の理論、行列模型、M理論、OM理論、AdS/CFT 対応、
brane world シナリオの場の理論的側面、等
３. 場の量子論における非摂動的手法：
双対性、繰り込み群、位相的配位、等
４. 可解系、物性系：
位相的場の理論、共形場理論、可解格子模型、物性論、等
５. その他の新しい話題：
ドジッター空間の量子重力、等
また、レビューを含む講演のテーマは現在検討中です。
