Workshop on "Di-lepton Experiments at 50-GeV PS"

 Date:  10/29 (Fri) and 10/30 (Sat)
 Place: 1F meeting room in the Bldg. 3 at KEK, Tsukuba

The purpose of this Workshop is to discuss plans for di-lepton experiments
at the JAERI/KEK Joint Accelerator Project. The physics potential and
the detector and beam requirements of such experiments will be addressed.

Topics of the Workshop include:

 * Parton distribution at large-x.
 * Drell-Yan process.
 * Vector meson (J/Psi, phi, etc) productions, and medium effects.
 * Parton physics with polarized proton.
 * Conceptual design of the experiments.

The following is a very preliminary list of talks at the Workshop.
Contributed talks from the Workshop participants are welcome.

  * Introduction of the JAERI/KEK Joint Project (Nagamiya)
  * Possible studies of parton distributions at JHF (Kumano)
  * Some topics on large-x region of parton distribution (Levy)
  * HERMES experiment (Shibata/Sakemi)
  * RHIC-SPIN experiment (TBA)
  * Phi experiment at KEK-PS (Chiba/Enyo)
  * Conceptual design of di-leption detector at JHF (Sawada/Chiba)
  * Primary beam line at 50-GeV PS (Tanaka)
  * Di-muon experiments at FNAL (Peng)
  * Di-lepton production in heavy ion reactions (Hamagaki)
