"Quantum adiabatic computation under nonuniform transverse field"
Jun Takahashi (Department of Basic Science, University of Tokyo)
Quantum adiabatic computation (quantum annealing) is known to be an alternative formulation for using quantum mechanical effects to perform computation. While various ways to accelerate the adiabatic computation process are investigated, no concrete results of the limits of acceleration has been obtained. We studied the boundary of the necessary accuracy of approximated solutions in order to perform fast computation, by examining nonuniform transverse field as advices.
