Title

"Quantum decoherence for holographic dual or topologically ordered systems"

Abstract

In this talk I will discuss the phenomena of quantum decoherence in two particular cases. The first is for the probe in the strongly interacting environments which have the holographic dual descriptions. In this case, we will find that the scaling behaviors of decoherence is alomst the same as the local quantum quench. This indicates the deocherence is associated with the thermalization. The second is for the probe to be Majorana zero modes of the topological insulator/supercconductor in some strongly correlated environments such as Luttinger liquids. We will discuss the issue of robustness of the topological qubits against quantum decoherence.
