The Yukawa Hall Archival Library (YHAL) was established in 1979 for the purpose of collecting and keeping materials of historical value in the development of modern physics, in particular, in particle and nuclear physics. The catalogues of the materials are open to researchers for references. YHAL's most important documents include Yukawa's original research notes on his formulation and the later development of the meson theory in the 1930's and 1940's.
