Information on International House

Some information on the International House at TMU    (updated on July 10)

Using the calculation rule described below, the approximate total fee
(including utilities, sheets, etc.) for the accommodation is the following:

From the night of July 15 to the noon of July 25	13,500 yen
From the night of July 14 to the noon of July 25	14,500 yen
From the night of July 13 to the noon of July 25	15,500 yen

The price does not change even if you stay until July 26 due to
some rule (See below). The price from July 15 to 25 is slightly
higher than originally announced on the web. (Many apologies!)

The following is the points which you should pay attention to:

(1) All guest rooms have an automatically locking door, i.e., once you
are out and the door is closed, then the door is automatically locked.
So make sure that you have your key with you whenever you get out of
your room.

(2) In case of emergency (such as fire, medical, etc.) during
off-business hours, it is supposed to call security at the East Gate
(extension 4999 from a guest room). (Unfortunately, these security
people don't speak English, so in this case you have to call Yasuda's
cellular phone; or you could call Prof. Fukushima (extension 5731 from
a guest room; Rm 211), who is a resident adviser at the International
House).

(3) SHOE REMOVAL: When entering your room, take off your shoes.

(4) Phone in each guest room is for receiving calls or for calling the
campus extension only, i.e., there is no way to call outside of the
campus. If you want to call overseas, use the public telephone in the
International House which accepts a prepaid calling card or 100 yen
coins.

(5) Every guest is supposed to clean the room when he/she leaves.
