Scope

Quantum information physics is a rapidly developing field of research which merges quantum physics and quantum information theory at a very deep bottom and is gathering much interest. The field is involved with various fundamental issues of physics, including: topological orders of condensed matter physics, and reinterpretation of AdS/CFT correspondence using tensor networks in quantum information theory. YQIP 2016 is the second YITP international workshop emphasizing a focus on quantum information physics. The workshop will take place from Jan 5th to 8th, 2016 and will feature invited talks, contributed talks, and a poster session. The registration fee for the workshop is free.
