YITP international workshop on Hadron in Nucleus
31st October (Thu.) to 2nd November (Sat.) 2013
  Maskawa hall in Kyoto University
(Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics)
----------------------------------------------------------

- About the Workshop -

The workshop will focus on recent experimental and theoretical
development of hadron in nucleus and in-medium properties of
hadron from the fundamental theory of the strong interaction,
Quantum Chromodynamics. The topics covered by the workshop will be

- strong interaction between hadron and nucleus in hadronic atoms,
such as, pionic atoms, kaonic atoms, and Xi atoms
- structure, decay processes and production reactions of mesonic nucleus
- role of baryon resonances in mesonic nuclei, such as Lambda(1405)
in kaonic nucleus and N(1535) in eta mesonic nucleus
- hadron and dilepton productions in nucleus
- eta' mesonic nucleus and UA(1) quantum anomaly in nuclear medium
- heavy meson (D, B, J/psi, etc.) in nucleus
- partial restoration of chiral symmetry in nucleus
- elementary hadron interaction

This workshop is a satellite workshop of the Hadron 2013 international
conference held in Nara from 4th to 8th November. Nara is located
about 40 km south of Kyoto and easy to access from Kyoto.

- Registration -
The registration desk will open at 9:30, Thursday, 31st October.
We will collect actual expenses for coffee, tea, cookies and
get-together party.

- Access to YITP -
Detailed information on access to YITP can be found at
http://www.yukawa.kyoto-u.ac.jp/english/contents/guide/map.html

- Workshop site -
The workshop is held at Maskawa hall in Kyoto University, which is located
next to the research building of Yukawa Institute. Coffee breaks and the
get-together part party are given in the salon of the research building of
Yukawa Institute. (Building No.13 is Maskawa Hall, Building No.12 is
the research building of Yukawa Institute in the map given at
 http://www.kyoto-u.ac.jp/en/access/campus/north.htm).

- Program -
The scientific program of the workshop will start at 10:00, Thursday,
31st October, and will end at 13:00, Saturday, 2nd November.
The schedule is given at:
http://www2.yukawa.kyoto-u.ac.jp/ws/2013/hin13/HIN/program.html

- Presentation files -
We would like to collect presentation files of talks given in the workshop
for public release on our home page. We would like to ask all of the
speakers for their kind cooperation.

- Internet access -
In the workshop room, eduroam is available. We prepare free internet
access at the salon of the research building, where we have coffee breaks.

- Get-together party -
We will have a get-together party starting at 18:30, Thursday 31st October,
in the salon of Yukawa Institute.

- Accommodations -
We would like to ask participants to arrange their accommodations
by themselves, and recommend reserving their hotel room as
early as possible, since the period of the workshop is one of the
highest season for tourism in Kyoto.

More information of accommodations can be found in
