Abstract
We consider a driven-dissipative cavity QED system, in which many two-level atoms are contained within an optical cavity and interact with cavity photons. The system may be in contact with several reservoirs and subject to laser driving. It is shown that, for a wide class of observables, dynamics of their expectation values is exactly described by the Hartree-type equation in the thermodynamic limit.
