Welcome to the YITP workshop "Connecting high-energy astroparticle physics for origins of cosmic rays and future perspectives", December 7 - 10 2020, Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan

The goal of this workshop is to bring together theorists and observers, who work on different wavelengths from radio to X-ray, MeV, GeV and TeV gamma rays, and other messengers including cosmic rays and neutrinos. We will review recent progress in the field of cosmic-ray physics, and then aim to address targeted physics and have brain-storming discussion about new observational concepts in the next decade. We plan to have sufficient time for the discussion allowing us to build organic networks among enthusiastic scientists.

Due to the epidemic situation of the COVID-19, we plan to have a ''hybrid'' workshop of both on-site and online at the same time. The time zone difference will be appropriately considered to schedule the time table, e.g. talks mainly from US time zone in 9:00 - 12:00 JST, ones from Europe time zone in 16:00 - 19:00 JST.
