Instructions for Oral and Poster Presentations
Oral presentations
- The venue is equipped with a projector.
- Please bring your laptop (with D-sub 15pin).
- The screen resolution is 1024 x 768.
- We recommend that you also bring your file(s) in a USB memory as a back-up, just in case.
- Please hook up your laptop to the projector and make sure everything works well.
- A selector to connect multiple laptops to the projector will also be available. If possible, please hook up your laptop to it during the break right before the session in which you are speaking.
- If you wish to use an overhead projector, please contact the organizers () in advance.
- In the 20 minutes talk, a bell rings once when 10 minutes pass, the bell rings twice when 15 minutes pass, and it sounds buzzer when 20 minutes pass. We prepare the countdown timer in the place that sees easily from the speaker.
Stage of the Hall
Poster presentations
- As a space for a poster-presentation,
- a couple of poster-boards (Width 120 cm x Height 175 cm each), or
- a large poster-board (Width 210 cm x Height (more than) 200cm)
- Push-pins, magnet-pins, and Scotch tapes are also available.
- Please find your poster number on the program, and put up your posters at your spot.
- The poster session starts at the afternoon of the first day. Please put up your posters before the lunch of the day. The site of the poster session is opened at the morning of the day, and closed at the end of the day.
- Please remove your posters before (or at) the end of the banquet (around 20:00). Note that posters that remain unremoved after that will be discarded.
