To the poser presenters
Schedule and Venue
The poster session will be held two times; on Feb 13 and Feb 15 at the room Y206 (on the 2nd floor of the main venue). On the days before the poster sessions (Feb12 and Feb 14), there will be poster preview sessions "Short poster presentation" at the main auditorium (Panasonic Hall). Each poster has a unique serial number assigned. Please note that the dates for the presentation are classified according to the parity of the serial number (Feb 12 and 13 for the odd numbers, and Feb 14 and 15 for the even numbers). Please check the number and more details in Program.
The board for your poster
Please visit Program and find your name. Please check the date (Feb 13 or Feb 15) and the number assigned to your poster. We ask you to put your poster on the board which is labeled by the number assigned to your poster. The board is available from the day of "Short poster presentation" (Feb 12 or Feb 14). When the poster sessions are over (on Feb 13 or Feb 15), please remove your poster so that the next presenters can put their posters (in case you have an odd number), or the layout of the rooms can be changed (in case you have an even number).
Short poster presentation
In this session, poster presenters show one-page slide to explain the contents of their posters to the audience. Each slot is just 3 min. long. Please submit your slides to yoshida_at_yukawa.kyoto-u.ac.jp by Feb 6. Please prepare your slides in the PDF format. As each slot is only 3 min., we kindly ask you to keep your slides being just 1 page. If the submitted PDF file includes more than 1 page, the extra pages will be deleted and only the first page will be kept remained.
Poster size, etc.
Poster boards accommodate A0 size portrait posters. The size of a poster board is 86.8 cm (width) and 151.5 cm (height). You can use only one side of a poster board for your presentation. We ask you to display your poster on the board by yourself. You can use magnets there to pin up your poster to the board. Please make sure to put up your poster well before the start of the poster sessions. The posters should be removed just after the end of each session.
