Schedule and Venue

The poster session will be held three times; on June 12, 19 and 26. On June 12, the session will be held at the rooms Y206 and Y306 (the room upstairs of the main venue. you will get details upon your arrival). While on June 19 and 26, it will be held at Maskawa Hall (the building next to YITP) and Y306. Before the poster sessions, there will be poster preview sessions "Gong Show" at the main auditorium (Panasonic Hall). Each poster has a serial number assigned. Please check the number and more details in the program.

The board for your poster

Please visit Program and find your name. Please check the date, the localtion and the number assigned to your poster. We ask you to put your poster on the board which is labeled by the number assigned to your poster. Please remove your poster by the noon of each Friday so that the presenters of the next week can use the boards.

Gong Show

The Gong Show starts from 16:50 (after the gong show, the poster session will start) on June 12. On June 19 and 26, it starts from 15:40 (after the gong show, the poster session will start).

In this session, poster presenters show one-page slide to explain the contents of their posters to the audience. Each slot is just 1 min. long. Please submit your slides to atsushi.watanabe -at- yukawa.kyoto-u.ac.jp by June 9. Please prepare your slides in the PDF format. As each slot is only 1 min., we kindly ask you to keep your slides being just 1 page. If the submitted PDF file includes more than 1 page, the extra pages will be deleted and only the first page will be kept remained.

Poster size, etc.

Poster boards accommodate A0 size portrait posters. The size of a poster board is 86.8cm (width) and 151.5cm (height). You can use only one side of a poster board for your presentation. We ask you to display your poster on the board by yourself. You can use magnets there to pin up your poster to the board. Please make sure to put up your poster well before the start of the poster sessions. Your poster may be displayed from the start of each week, and may be kept displayed throughout the week. The posters should be removed by the noon of each Friday so that the presenters of the next week can use the boards.
