Conference site

YKIS2011 will be held at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics
(YITP), Kyoto university, from 11 October to 15 October, 2011.
As shown in the following map

YITP has two buildings, Research building and Yukawa Memorial Hall,
and YKIS2011 will be held mainly in Yukawa Memorial Hall.
Plenary sessions : Panasonic auditorium in Yukawa Memorial Hall
Poster session: room Y206 in Yukawa Memorial Hall
Parallel sessions: Panasonic auditorium in Yukawa Memorial Hall
and room K206 in Research building.

Scientific Program

The symposium will start at 9:20 am on 11 Oct. (Tue), and will end
around 1pm on 15 Oct. (Sat). Details of the scientific program can

Oral presentations
----------------------------
Following time is assigned for oral presentations.
Invited talk: 30min (incl. 5min for discussion)
Contributed talk: 20min (incl. 5min for discussion)
Please copy your presentation file (pdf or ppt, pptx) to
the conference PC (Windows 7) before your talk. If a Mac PC
is necessary, please let the secretariat know in advance.

Poster presentation

The poster session is scheduled on 13 Oct. Posters can be presented
in room Y206 of Yukawa Memorial Hall from 12 Oct. The size
of the poster board is 151.5 cm long x 86.8 cm wide.
Please remove your poster on 14 Oct.

Proceedings
-----------------------------
The proceedings will be published as a supplement volume of
Progress of Theoretical Physics. The proceedings are composed of
the papers by the oral speakers of YKIS2011 and the invited papers
of the long-term workshop DCEN2011. Please find details here:

Registration / Registration fee
-----------------------------
The registration desk will open at 8:00 on 11 October (Tue) at
the entrance lobby of Yukawa Memorial Hall. You can also make
registration in the afternoon (14:00-16:00) of 7 Oct. (Fri).
Note that the doors of YITP will be closed on 8,9 and 10th
(national holiday). The registration fee of 10,000 JPY
(5,000 JPY for students and accompany persons) is required for
all the participants. We will accept only cash. Conference dinner
and refreshments are included in the fee.

A special wireless network for the conference participants is available.
The WEP key will be given when you make registration.

The conference dinner will be organized on 14 Oct. from 18:00 at
Kyoto University Clock Tower Centennial Hall in the main campus.

From JR Kyoto Station there are city-bus lines to YITP. It costs 220 JPY and normally takes 30-40 minutes. At the bus stop "Kyoto Eki Mae" located just in front of JR Kyoto station, please take the bus No.17 for "Ginkakuji, Kinrin Shako" and get off at "Kyodai-Nogakubu-Mae".
