Title
Emergence of long-range correlations and rigidity at the dynamic glass transition

Abstract
At the so-called dynamic glass transition predicted by the
mean-field replica approach equilibrium liquid's translational
symmetry is spontaneously broken, albeit at the microscopic
level. I will show that this fact implies the emergence of Goldstone
modes and long-range density correlations. I will present a derivation
of a new statistical mechanical expression for the glass shear modulus.
This expression is complementary to the formula used earlier by
Yoshino and Mezard. To calculate the modulus I will combine the new
expression with a version of the replica approach which is consistent
with the mode-coupling theory.
