Welcome to the International Molecule-type Workshop "Frontiers in Lattice QCD and related topics", April 15-26 2019, at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto, Japan

Lattice QCD is a systematic method to non-perturbatively investigate strong interaction of hadrons using numerical simulations. Recent lattice QCD simulations have successfully derived light hadron spectra accurately from the first principle with all systematics such as finite lattice spacing, finite volume and unphysical quark masses under control. Even the proton-neutron mass difference can be estimated by lattice QCD with isospin breakings due to up/down quark masses and QED effects. Now it is the time to consider more complicated quantities such as hadron interactions and hadron decays in lattice QCD.

In this workshop, we intensively discuss various frontiers in lattice QCD calculations. Topics covered by the workshop are as follows.

Hadron interactions

Finite temperature and density

Muon g-2

Matrix elements

and other theoretical developments on a lattice.
