1. Hotel arrangement by travel agancy

For participants, we have reserved rooms at three hotels in Kyoto. Reservation can be made through the following web page by JTB (Japan Tourist Bureau). Room assignment will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here room rates are shown for room/night including service charge and consumption tax.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are TWO kinds of bus no.17, Kyoto city bus and Kyoto bus. Please make sure to kake the KYOTO CITY BUS which is green color like this. Do NOT take no. 17 of this one.

NOTE from Kyoto Central Inn: Kyoto City plans to do work of construction of Shijo Street from October 2014 to the end of October 2015. During this period, you may hear the sound of the construction outside. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we would appreciate your understanding.

2. Kitashirakawa Guest House

We also have a limited number (~8) rooms in the Kitashirakawa Guest House. Priority is given to students. The guest house arrangement can be requested in the registration.

3. Self-arrangement

If you would like to arrange your accommodation by yourself, you can find a list of hotels in Kyoto here. We however note that Kyoto is the one of the busiest city for tourism in Japan. We recommend you to use the option 1. Hotel arrangement by travel agancy.
