On this workshop
四半世紀ぐらい前に京大と阪大の間には交流研究会が存在していたが、しばらく途絶えていた。 COVID-19 も下火になってきたので、この機会に復活させようという機運がにわかに高まった。 そこでまずはできるところからということで、 天体物理関係の人たちが半年に一度ぐらい半日集まろうということになった。 これまで以下の研究会を行った：
About a quarter of a century ago, there was a collaborative research workshop between Kyoto University and Osaka University, but it had been inactive for some time. With the COVID-19 pandemic now subsiding, the momentum to revive the workshop suddenly grew. Therefore, we decided to start with what we could, and the astrophysics researchers agreed to meet for a half-day gathering about once every six months. We have held the following workshops:
これまで、巨大ブラックホール、突発天体とプラズマ、XRISMなどのテーマを議論してきた。大変好評で、色々な情報を交換することができた。 今回は京大で行う。 プログラムは比較的ゆったりとしたものにし、議論の時間をたくさん取る。
So far, we have discussed themes such as supermassive black holes, transients and plasmas, and XRISM. These meetings have been very well received and provided valuable opportunities to exchange information. This time, the workshop will be held at Kyoto University. The program will be relatively relaxed, with ample time reserved for discussion.
