Conference site

YITP has two buildings, Research building and Yukawa Memorical
Hall. Most of the sessions will be held at Panasonic auditorium
in Yukawa Memorial Hall.

From JR Kyoto Station there are city-bus lines to YITP. It costs 220 JPY and normally takes 30-40 minutes. At the bus stop "Kyoto Eki Mae" located just in front of JR Kyoto station, please take the bus No.17 for "Ginkakuji, Kinrin Shako" and get off at "Kyodai-Nogakubu-Mae".

Registration
-----------------------------
The registration starts on 20 Sep (19 Sep is a national holiday).
When you arrive at YITP, please visit the Secretariat Desk located
at #K107 in the Research building. You will receive keys (a key to
your office and a card key to the building) and some local information.
The deposit of 3,000 yen in cash is required upon arrival, which will
be refunded when you return the keys on departure.

10:00-12:00, 13:00-16:00 (Mon.-Fri.).
For the long term workshop DCEN, registration fee is free, however we would like to ask participants to pay fee for get-together parties, which are scheduled on 20 Sep, 26 Sep, 3 Oct, and 24 Oct at "Hokuto" in the cafeteria. The fee is 2000 JPY for each party including tea/coffee/snacks for the one-day workshop.
If you attend the YKIS2011 symposium (11-15 Oct), the registration fee is required for all the YKIS participants, 10,000 JPY (5,000 JPY for students and accompany persons).

National Holidays / Entrance door of YITP
------------------------------
Please note that 19 Sep, 23 Sep, and 10 Oct are national
holidays and the doors of YITP are closed, just like in weekend.
You need a card key to open the door. On weekdays, doors
are open from 8:00 to 18:00. At night and in early morning
you need the card key.

Library and Computer Rooms
------------------------------
The YITP library is located on the 3rd floor of Research building.
It is open from 9:00 to 17:00. After 17:00, you can open the
library doors with your card key. Computer room is on the 2nd
floor of Research Building. You also need the card key after 17:00.

Network

A special wireless network for the workshop participants is available.
The WEP key will be given when you make registration at room K107.

Open space
------------------------------
Room K102 in the Research building and Y306 in the Yukawa Memorial
Hall are open spaces for the participants and can be used for
discussions.

Scientific program
------------------------------
On the first day of each week, we have a short meeting to discuss
what kind of subjects/topics should be covered in that week.
We are planning to have informal sessions by volunteers, aiming at
a rather intensive discussion among people who are interested in a
specific subject. If you have any suggestion, please contact the
conveners: T. Nakatsukasa, Y. Kanada-En'yo, or K. Hagino.

We will collect presentation files and upload them on the workshop web site.
