Recruiting Students and Postdoctoral Researchers
As quantum information science is rapidly developing, researchers with a solid understanding of its theoretical foundations are becoming increasingly important. Our group focuses on theoretical quantum information science and provides an opportunity to persue their interests and career goals, from fundamental studies to applications. We welcome both those aiming for academic careers and those interested in broader quantum-related fields.

Graduate Programs
Our group focuses on theoretical quantum information science from a broad range of perspectives, spanning quantum information processing and fundamental physics inspired by quantum information.
Research is primarily theoretical, covering topics such as quantum communication, quantum error correction, quantum algorithms, and quantum many-body systems. We offer an environment well connected to international research networks and welcome students with strong intrinsic motivation. Students from diverse academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, as long as they have an interest in topics related to quantum and information.
Postdoctoral Opportunities
We welcome postdoctoral researchers with an interest in quantum information science from a wide range of backgrounds. We value curiosity, motivation, and a collaborative approach to research in our group.
Although we do not currently have group-funded postdoctoral positions, we encourage applications supported by external fellowships, such as JSPS International Fellowships for Research in Japan , and we are happy to assist in the application process.
