Notice of Book collection inspection (with working noise)　Every Wednesday Afternoon

We will check the book collection of the library on the 3rd floor on the following dates.

Date and time: Every Wednesday, 13:30-15:30
From June 19, 2024 (expected to end around spring next year)

Location: 3rd floor library, open stacks

Workers: Kyoto University Operations Support Services Office by Persons with Disability, 2 staff members

Work: Reading material IDs using a wireless barcode reader

Work will be done in two locations, with ladders set up in front of the shelves. They will then move to the back in sequence.
If you would like to use a book on the shelves in question, please speak to a staff member.

Please understand that there will be a sound each time the staff scans the ID.
Work will only be carried out for two hours per week.

Book inspections are mandatory for asset management purposes.
