We will have the 6th online colloquium “Extreme Universe Colloquium” on May 23rd (Mon) 16:00 (JST). The speaker is Prof. Keiji Saito (Keio University). For details, please refer to the poster. If you have not registered yet, please register at our online event website at least three days prior to the colloquium. (It is not necessary to register again if you have done it already.)
Prof. Masaki Shigemori from our group B01 will give two public lectures in Japanese on May 18th and 22nd, entitled "What is string theory?" and "What is holography?".
We will have the 5th online colloquium “Extreme Universe Colloquium” on Apr. 25 (Mon) 10am (JST). The speaker is Prof. Jiro Soda (Kobe University). For details, please refer to the poster. From 3rd until 5th March 2022, The First Extreme Universe School was held at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto University, as a hybrid (online/in-person) meeting. Up to 340 people attended the lectures simultaneously. Hot discussions were held during the get-together session and the poster session, both online only, in the evenings [photo].

On 7th and 8th March 2022, The First Annual Meeting was held at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto University, as a hybrid (online/in-person) meeting. Presentations were given about research achievements and research projects on each theme of the Extreme Universe. There were lively discussions between researchers from various disciplines[photo].
